New album arriving in December

Our next album release: Army of Generals Volume II, is now confirmed for release on 1 December 2023 via the record label Leaf Music Distribution. The album will be coming to major digital music streaming platforms (including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music) and physical CD’s will be available for purchase from our online store.

The album continues our ongoing rediscovery and exploration of Carl Theodor’s court orchestra in Mannheim during the period 1742–78, and features 3 symphonies and 3 opera arias performed in Mannheim and Schwetzingen from this period. Featured on the album is soprano Elisabeth Hetherington, and the orchestra again led by Anders Muskens on harpsichord, and concertmaster Mojca Gal.
